The
fact Gail feels so
at home and knows so well many of the places in which she photographs
is reflected throughout her work. Naturally sensitive and
empathetic to situations, she works openly but with respect and
discretion, using the minimum of kit and natural light. Choosing
the right 'fit' of a photographer for an assignment is just as important as
their ability to take photographs, and follow the brief.
Gail's photo essays include 'Living in the shadow of' - documenting the lives of people in Belarus, Morocco, Greece and Rwanda.
Mounted or framed prints of selected photographs are produced for sale. and Gail also periodically produces images on contemporary media and designs photographic products.
